Giotto Digital 1500 is a real miracle of technology and design. Key feature is the revolutionary Digital Module which, due to a clever application of DLP (TI) technology, enables the Giotto to project graphic effects with the brightness and speed of traditional moving head fixtures. Giotto Digital 1500 is the first and only moving head fixture on the market able to create all-digital, completely customizable graphic effects, finally overcoming the typical limits of effects generated by traditional gobo, iris, beam shaper and zoom components.
Giotto Digital 1500 stands out for the fact that it has the typical format of a moving head fixture designed and manufactured mainly for entertainment lighting, but is equipped with an innovative all-digital system for the generation of graphic effects, while maintaining fundamental features such as fast movement, brightness, control standard and compact dimensions.
Giotto 1500 assumes a revolutionary Digital format, with a unit combining the "CMY" module (CMY colour mixing system, linear CTO filter and Dimmer) and the new "Digital" and "Digital Zoom Focus" modules. Assembled like this, the unit provides all the functions of a digital video projector, combined for the first time with the luminosity, colour rendering and speed of a professional moving head fixture. An exceptional result, obtained thanks to SGM’s patented application of DLP technology. The "Digital" module’s great potential is achieved thanks to an almost endless library of films and images, which can be expanded and customized whenever necessary; a graphics processor with 2 simultaneous layers, each featuring an effect (rotation, indexing, digital zoom, etc.), and 2 overall effects (iris, beam shaper and selectable layer transition), plus two colour wheels, which can be customized and each has 5 colours.
The video facilities are combined with the effects of the special "Digital Zoom Focus”, with rotating prism, linear shutter and frost, and high resolution focus and optical zoom.

The fixture's main innovation is its use of 49 high-power luxeon LEDs as a light source (with RGB color mixing- 5 blues, 20 greens and 24 reds).
